Who is Pele?

There are several legends about Pele, and still, she is a mystery. She calls the Hawaiian Islands her home. In my story Mishap & Mayhem she is the 'grandmother' to Kana'i and Kye. Her grandsons risk angering Pele by helping Grasiella and Tatiana. You see, Pele does not trust outsiders, otherwise known as 'Haoles.'

Researching Pele was a lot of fun, I really enjoyed having her in my story. For more information about Pele please read about her here.
