Point Fermin Lighthouse

I spent some time at Point Fermin Lighthouse in San Pedro, CA built in 1874. Point Fermin is surrounded by trees that look like they belong in a storybook they are massive with huge roots protruding from the ground. If you enjoy hiking there are some nice trails although they seem pretty steep to me. I was also surprised to see some people fishing out on the huge rocks at the bottom of the cliffs. There are some amazing views of Catalina Island that are seen from the lighthouse, I must say the island looks so close almost as if you could swim there if you wanted.

This weekend I'm planing on heading out to San Bernardino into the city of Guasti, from what I'm told its nearly non-existent all that is left is the old post office and a winery. I just might partake in some wine tasting.

Updates!

It's been much too long since my last post, and I thought I would share what's new and what I'm working on. First off I've adopted a baby elephant! Well sort of, I became aware of an elephant rescue; The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, this is a wonderful cause that rescues baby elephants who have lost their mothers because of poachers. I've also signed up for several photography classes, learning what the camera functions are and what they do has been a challenge, and I can now say that I know what Fstops, Shutter Speeds and ISO's are and what they do and why AUTO is your friendemy. Portraits are my main focus, in photography as the play of shadow and light can create such drama and fine details. Here is a portrait I took, and yes, that's my niece Grace, you'll recognize her from the covers on The Legacy Trilogy. As for my writing, I'm currently working on book three of the New Orleans Mysteries series and book five in my Zombie Novella ser
