Row80 Check In

Halloween is tomorrow and I am all set for it! Decorated with Partylite decorations (Partylite consultant here) along with tealights, and I am quite proud with how it all turned out. I went to Costco and bought candy bars for the trick -or- treaters and plan on watching the Ghost Hunters Halloween special and give out candy. Saturday I went to a Halloween party and saw my nieces and nephews in their costumes. I have eight of them and one on the way, have I mentioned I have four brothers?

As for writing I did not get much done this past week, but I did workout so I think that counts for something. However I will get some writing done today and get back on track. In the meantime here is a cute photo of some of my nieces and nephews in their Halloween costumes...

  1. Working out counts big time. I got three workouts in over the last seven days. Hooray! (Still need to do more cardio though.)

Anyhoo, have a great week, and all the best on your writing goals.

Raven's Fall

I've started a new series set in Iceland and focuses on one of my favorite heroines; Valkyries. But you can never out-run what you are. Chosen by the ravens who send Valkyries in search of her, Kiera will have to learn fast what it takes to become one of the Valkyries or fall. Updates!

It's been much too long since my last post, and I thought I would share what's new and what I'm working on. First off I've adopted a baby elephant! Well sort of, I became aware of an elephant rescue; The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, this is a wonderful cause that rescues baby elephants who have lost their mothers because of poachers. I've also signed up for several photography classes, learning what the camera functions are and what they do has been a challenge, and I can now say that I know what Fstops, Shutter Speeds and ISO's are and what they do and why AUTO is your friendemy. Portraits are my main focus, in photography as the play of shadow and light can create such drama and fine details. Here is a portrait I took, and yes, that's my niece Grace, you'll recognize her from the covers on The Legacy Trilogy. As for my writing, I'm currently working on book three of the New Orleans Mysteries series and book five in my Zombie Novella ser
